Silicon Valley Bullshit

Its been a busy couple of weeks… Today I resigned from my job. I have no gripes with the company that I am leaving and they have some great people, but the job I accepted didn’t happen. There was work for me to do, plenty of it, but ultimately I realised I needed challenges they couldn’t quite offer me. I was transparent with my manager and peers that I was looking for work and I began the process of accepting communications from recruitment people around the place and reached out to my network to see what things were on offer. I was practically bombarded with opportunities. I filtered out the least attractive ones and committed to interview for a few, while keeping others hanging on while I sorted through the ones that I was actively involved in recruitment processes. To be clear I am a very experienced engineer with over 25 years experience. I have worked with a lot of people and I don’t want to sound arrogant but most former colleagues rate me highly. I had no problem in attracting
